1988 GT Performer
1988 GT Performer
Old mid new school performer
This is my 88 performer. I wanted to do something different than restore it back to og. It has primo s.o.b hubs laced to alienation delinquent rims with velocity spokes. Primo power bite cranks and bottom bracket odyssey twist pedals. Tech 77 levers (repop) Tektro front brake and 990 plate with dia compe 990 rear brakes. Everything else is og to my bike. The seat post is the replacement post cuz I bent the og post back in 88. It has lots of scratches and a dent in the chainstay that I did when I showing off cuz I was cool. My freestyle days are over now but its just to ride around the block with my 7 year old. At least until im not cool enough to hang with. This was my first bike since I started collecting bikes. Im pretty new to all of this. It was a lot of fun to build it up. Im already working on my second bike for the dyno build off. They say the first step in addiction is to admit u have a problem. Yes I have a problem. I'm low on bike funds. Hope u all enjoy this one just a little bit.
Build your bikes the way you want. Always looking for 85/86 dyno but don't always have money for them.

Nice ride, what kind of tires are on it. 100 psi? They're slick!
