Re: 1991 GT Pro Freestyle Tour
Very nice bike, I was lucky enough to spend a day in York, PA with kevin and this is what he was riding at the time. Heaven.

Re: 1991 GT Pro Freestyle Tour
Im just not too sure what the boarder color is,,,, it looks faded pink but could have been red or orange.. for sure if I do get decals for this it wont have pink for any of the colors....I kinda like to look of the catalog decals for 91 pft's...

Re: 1991 GT Pro Freestyle Tour
Ive been trying to get the hang of ridding this bike, very solid but feels like a tank compared to my 84 and 85...
gotta get new speed trap pads since Ive tried everything else to get the brakes to work..... The GT/profile cranks and GT/DX pedals are a huge improvement over any other crank/pedal setup period......

Re: 1991 GT Pro Freestyle Tour
I didnt really want to tattoo my bike but these look ok... They all had memories riding a yellow PFT just like mine..
Eddie Fiola, he said he still has two of these..
MArtin Apario.. remembers ridding these in shows....
Brian Blyther, rode one during the two years with GT....

Re: 1991 GT Pro Freestyle Tour
I wasn't even gonna bring this bike out, but the rumor of Brian Blyther being at the OS show, with a chance to meet him, see him ride the ramp changed my mind....I was big fan of Blyther when he rode vert for haro..... If I had that dyno I would of for sure got Dave Voelker to sign it, that guy was and still is bad ass on a ramp.........

That's very nice, I have the a '91 PFT in Neon Yellow as well, you can see it on my personal page. Mine still needs a lot of work though.

Re: 1991 GT Pro Freestyle Tour
awesome, huge fan of this one! I actually got to see martin ride one just like this in summer 1991, when riding for vans.I got to ride it,and it was rock solid dialed, felt like a standard!my gts always felt like about to dismember, lol lol, martin's brakes were something else, you could endo with just your pinky on the lever! and yes,the gt profile/early gt dx set up is the best they ever had! I love those pedals!

Re: 1991 GT Pro Freestyle Tour
martin had some interesting things to say when he saw it..something about having to support the front brake arms to prevent them from breaking the center bolt..and no S bend PFT frame was immune from collapsing, but he liked the beefier stronger rear triangle of these frames.....
