1986 GT Pro Performer

My daughters ride, isn't she lucky!

This is the bike that got me back in the game.  This was a craigslist find and what a find she was!  This is the exact bike my cousin used to rock back in the day, a bike that has refreshed memories of good times and freedom being a kid and being care free.  This bike is a survivor!  I changed out the grips, wheels (dry rot), and levers for my girl, however those componants are still there when she grows out of it.  The stickers are def. from 86, but the serial numbers say 85? also the bike didnt have any type of gyro found in later year models.  Im glad I ran into this one, it has provided great memories from a good past and has ignited a passion I once had with the sport and lifestyle. In storage sad

Re: 1986 GT Pro Performer

that early of an 86 would NOT have a gyro, gyro was not really available yet. You would need to change that epoch cap to the small aluminum cap to run a first generation gyro....not sure if the gyro 2 or the newer type oryg would fit that plastic epoch cap...... For sure a nice find on that legit 86 pro performer.. your girl will love it..
