Re: Newbie. Please help me ID my GT

weren't all the performers with the "s" bend "pro performers"  and didn't they have 990 mounts?  so would that make this a 89 freestyle tour? i'm probably wrong about this though.

Re: Newbie. Please help me ID my GT

and are those back dropouts, either a pro performer, or pro freestyle tour??? the regular performer has different ones than that.

Re: Newbie. Please help me ID my GT

90-91 performer

anything "Pro" had 990 mounts
"regular" performers before 90 had the dual brake mounts

check out my 1990 here

Re: Newbie. Please help me ID my GT

correction fenway mid to late 89' they removed the 990 mounts but early 89' mounts were still there but definitely this is a 90-91 another way you can tell tryintorideagain if you have the original mags off this bike, 89 and below the GT font was the oldschool round style and anything above 89 the GT was slanted. Whats the serial number?

Re: Newbie. Please help me ID my GT

fenway possibly but would still have the 89 stickers lots of little intricate things they did back then that you wouldn't really notice unless you look at every tiny bit of part or piece that was welded on the bike.

Re: Newbie. Please help me ID my GT

In 90-91 the Pro Freestyle tour and Pro Performer frames were totaly changed.  During these years, the performer was welded up in the old pro freestyle/pro performer jigs, but made from Trimolly, with no 990 mounts. In the mid 90's the performer changed to a trimolly frame with a single bend down tube and 990 mounts.

I'll make a new avatar for this guy myself, if he stops using yours.  It's driving me crazy!  I can't tell which posts are your's anymore.  Not to mention you took the time to make that in Image Ready.  That shits just wrong G!
