Re: 1996 SE Racing P.K. Ripper

it was shortly around '97 or '98 that they ditched the 'PK Ripper' decals for the big 'SE' down tube decal, so if those are original decals i would say your about right with the '96.

Re: 1996 SE Racing P.K. Ripper

On close inspection me thinks the decals are original stock items from new.

They've been ground on if they are 14mm.
SE went to the big SE decals on the downtube in 98 for the 98 and 99 models. Yours is definatley 95-97. Nice bike.

Re: 1996 SE Racing P.K. Ripper

the landing gear decals are correct but the frame has been restickered. mine is a 94/95 here in the museum and mine has the drip style decals as this one appears to not be, also on the decals on the rear section the 6061 t6 alloy decal is too high. OG they were down at the bottom of the same tube close to the rear dropouts. my decals on mine are OG and i bought the bike new in 1994/5. nice bike though.
