1983 Redline PL-24

If chrome is your thing this one is for you

1983 serial …

Have had everything you see laying around in garage for waaaaay too long so I decided to get on with it.  Guessing frame was re-chromed BITD after seat post mast crack was repaired, but who knows maybe it was spot welded and only the affected area was dipped.  That said the chrome on the frame has swirls and the decals have character, so who the hell knows. The forks look like they are original.
Opted for a Sugino drive train v. a Bubble sprocket.  Also went with AL’s handlebars given the batshit crazy prices in 2021 for a set of stamped Redline handlebars.  What used to be a fun and reasonably affordable hobby is no longer the case, but I guess anyone who been on here since at least Obama's second term knows that.
