Too bad you don’t have pro class cranks for it.
I don't like kickstand holes in a Mongoose matchbox.

Re: 1982 Mongoose Pro Class
Some fun history on this bike. If you look at the pics from when the bike was first posted back in 2006 by Anonymous...you can see that someone photo shopped the head tube decal. Look very closely and you can see it. I can verify the head tube decal was slightly damaged even though my pic came out a little blurry.
So after seeing this bike on the Museum back in ‘06...I had to have it and searched everywhere possible for it and asked anyone who might know of it.
Finally...I happened across a maybe on the old RadBMXUK site before it crashed. If I remember right...very odd member with not much communication. Anyway...I sent the funds...don’t even want to tell you how much I got it for $$$.$$..
Took a while to arrive...for a minute I didn’t think it was going to. I had it shipped to my Mother’s office in Lake Success...back when she was still alive. So I acquired the bike in the Summer of 2006 if I remember right..?
It was shipped in that actual box...nothing else. Just taped shut and mailing label stuck to it. When I got it...I remember seeing the drops sticking out the side of the box and was like...oh no. But...they were perfect...not even a scratch..!?!?! Don’t ask me how that was possible.
I carefully removed what little packing tape there was and the shipping label from the box.
So somehow...this bike left the U.S. to the U.K. then made it all the way back again in it’s own box..!!!
I still wonder who photo shopped that head tube decal..?
Just a back story on an old bike.

What happened to the rest of your bikes? You have some killer ones.
You can't put a price on peace of mind.
This too shall pass.
That's the way it goes. Life ain't fair and the world is mean.

They’re all here still...no worries.
Thinking I might start over new for 2021...new everything. Hopefully vaccinated as well..
Thought I might start with all the bikes I own on the Museum posted by other members/original/prior owners. Might be a cool thing to do.
Also need to start writing some of this stuff down...”I’ve forgotten more than most ever knew”. Seriously.
I opened up a brand new 1985 Expert the other day and had no clue when or where I grabbed it along the way. The memory is going. Born the same year that the best Bicycle Company put out their first complete model.
