1978 Easy Rider 900

Early school model similar to Yamaha Motobike.

Bought this bike in 1992 from original owner. I think it has way more style to it than a Yamaha Motobike, especially the top and down tubes. Also the front shocks are all chrome and have the added springs. The rubber boots have dry rotted away.
With the swingarm chainstay and the shocks this bike is a blast to ride on the handicapped curbs and pot hole streets of Philly. The beefy rims are Taan Chyang, with 12g spokes. The rear shocks are 12" long. The front shocks are 22" long with 6" springs. The bread loaf seat is beat up and the sissy bar has had it's extra adjustment holes trimmed off for a clean look. Fenders have some cracks and chips. The frame has a lot of road rash but no cracks or dents. Love the look and I love the ride.      Thanks, Dan K-Tel.

looks like a labor intensive built frame, very nice

Newbie...
No front brakes, except for freestyle.
Adjust your seat and bars, so it looks like you actually ride.
Use cruiser bars on cruisers.
No laybacks on cruisers either, jeez.
