1988 Royce Union Savoy XL900 Freestyle

Savoy xl900 freestyle.  This is the best example of this bike you will find on the web. 100% original. And only 1 of 2 in the museum, or on the web

I had a guy send me a message letting me know that he had heard I collected bikes.  I said "I sure do , what do you got." And he sends me a pic of this bike.  I searched the web and could only find one post about a similar bike.  It instantly perked my interest but I could find nothing on this bike.  I realize its probly a department store bike, but I am still drawn to it. After a 6 months I finally pulled the trigger and paid the 100 dollars for it.  This thing is a true survivor.  Other than the tires being dry rotted it is in superb shape.  It was kept in the guys basement forever as he put it.  I decided to put it on the BMXmuseum in case someone else has one.  I believe there is only one other on this site, but it was a frame that was rebuilt.  This bike sites in it's original glory and I want to share it.
