1990 Bully Bashguard

Stoked to have another Bully Bashguard!

I'd always been a huge RL Osborn fan so when a buddy of mine offered me a red/black f/f in trade for some parts I had, I jumped at the opportunity. It was 1990 or 1991, I built it with all the parts off my 1987 Haro Master, Super Pros, Flights, Hutch stem, you name it.... I lived in a condo apartment in Reseda, CA at the time and had roommates, but our condo and the one below ours shared a garage so the door was open all the time. Sadly, some POS stole it from my garage. Anyway, I've always taken pics of my bikes once I finished building them, for whatever reason I never took one of the Bully so I'm really happy to have this one now, I hope it unlocks the memories from BITD and my original Bully!
About the build:
The only added flair to this bike is the polished stem. I would say I built it with "era correct",  even if it's a reproduction part such as the tires, grips and sprocket. I looked for a Dia Compe front cable dated 89-91 for a while with no luck. While researching other parts in magazines at oldschoolmags.com, I came across a Trend ad in a GO magazine from September 1990 that had the Odyssey Slic cable listed for $1.50, so I went with a new one as part of the "repop" list of parts.

Re: 1990 Bully Bashguard

Beautiful!  Literally

Life is short.  Spend it!  Looking for: I will PAY top dollar for a Fishbone 1-1/8 X-UFO  detangler.  Also need Hevron Haro stem.  Have mid school goodness to trade also.
