1985 Hedstrom Dominator

Saw this on line, thought my young boys will love it. Honestly I'm having another boy this November 1st, 2017. He isn't born yet and he's got his first BMX. By the time he's old enough to ride it'll be 35 years old. The loop tail is what sold me. It had some minor surface rust, nothing a little aluminum foil couldn't handle. Re greased and cleaned everything. I've worked on a lot of bikes but this was the first time I disassembled a rear coaster brake hub. No problem. The coaster brake arm is stamped Shimano. The only thing I replaced was the pedals. I kept the original ones (about 2/3 the size of these) but one is missing a press in dust cap. The NOS pedals I put on this look just like the originals though. Not sure (doubt it) if the Kenda knobby tires were original. I don't think this bike saw very much use for real. Very little evidence of being ridden at all. Thanks for looking!

Sweet bike, just bought one all chrome for my 5 year old son. Yours looks immaculate. Decided to make mine it into a Cru Jones “Rad Movie Bike”. Once he grows out of it should hang nicely on my office wall.
