1982 Hustler Pro

1982 Hustler Pro made by Cooks Bros exclusively for Ralph's bicycles Downey Ca

Picked this up from the original owner who used to race for Ralph's Bicycles in Downey Ca. Very rare frame made by Cooks Bros exclusively for Ralph's race team. The bars and forks are also Cooks Bros. Rare bars only set I've seen. Bike was in rough shape when I got it. Gave it a vinegar bath and had to do a little mock up build with parts I had lying around. Also swapped some parts from a rare DRP (delta racing products) picked up from the same OG owner.

Re: 1982 Hustler Pro

Brars are definitely NOT Cook Bros. Cook Bros bars only dipped down on the right side. Yours are Schwinn bars or Thruster bars.

These are Cook Bros bars.

Re: 1982 Hustler Pro

Just saw this in the trade section, so thought I'd come over for a closer look! A cool frameset for sure, and I love the gusset! smile

Check out my 1983 VDC-built Trident, 1983 Kuwi Laserlite, 2010 GT Ultrabox 2, 2011 Crupi race rig and prototype Quamen, plus the all things Crupi & old school scene in Japan threads. Always interested in buying used, mid-school race plates and pads - UGP, Knucklebone, Lizard Skins, Pryme and the like, me like!!
