2004 Black Market 1st Gen Mob 26" Dirt Jumper w/Marzocchi Dirt Jumper 2 2006 Forks

Here is a very nice example of a Black Market 1st Gen Mob 26" Dirt Jumper.
WTB Laserdischoops
Profile hubs
Sette Bars
2006 Marzocchi Dirt Jumper 2 forks
Azonic crank arms
Diety chain ring
KMC heavy duty chain
Kendall tires
This is my first 26" cruiser, I thought it'd be too big but boy have I taken a liking to it.
It's stickered as a 'Red Dragon', in the correct font, which threw me, so I contacted Carter Holland @ Black Market Bikes.
"No problem, happy to help. That is a 1st generation Mob. We immediately started putting in the brake bridge after a few cracked at the end of the brake tab from guys doing tail taps with hydraulic brakes. There should be a serial number there somewhere I think. We never made a Red Dragon..
Very cool though! Stoked to see it still rocking! That should have been made in 2004 I believe... that is the year we started making the Mob and that is 1st gen for sure. Glad you like it!
Thanks for supporting a rider owned brand,
Carter Holland

This 1st gen seems to differ in that there is no gusset at the rear brake side drop outs, round brake bridge, non built in seat clamp and a little more seat tube extending up from the top tube, I am sure there are a few other feature differences I haven't picked up.

Re: 2004 Black Market Mob 26

If any knowledgeable Dirt Jumper 26" guys know more about any of the parts here please let me know.
This style is new to me, new stuff to learn, disc brakes, shocks that can be air set up, etc.

It's been a blast to ride so far, and I always thought it'd be to big but it's very nice.
