1981 Puch Trak-Pro

Speed Unlimited racer

Good-quality racer made by Thruster/Speed Unlimited NJ.  Aero tubing, with Tange TRX forks.  (Which I think match the bike better than the Thruster forks, due to the areo tubing.)  Good deal from a member here on the frame/fork.  I will ride this one, hence the modern seat.  (now sold)

-    Puch frame-    Tange TRX forks-    Sun rims/Shimano hubs-    Snakebellies-    ODI grips

Re: 1981 Puch Trak-Pro

I love these frames and really like what you've done with this one, especially the green touches. Did you get those decals specially made?

Check out my 1983 VDC-built Trident, 1983 Kuwi Laserlite, 2010 GT Ultrabox 2, 2011 Crupi race rig and prototype Quamen, plus the all things Crupi & old school scene in Japan threads. Always interested in buying used, mid-school race plates and pads - UGP, Knucklebone, Lizard Skins, Odyssey and Pryme to name but a few!!

Re: 1981 Puch Trak-Pro

They are actual Puch bicycle decals.  Not meant specifically for BMX, but worked.  I like them a little better than the decals originally issued on the Trak-Pro, seem to have a little more "clean" styling in my opinion...
