1986 Redline RL-20a

Beautiful radberry survivor!

My new daily rider.  After all of these years, I seem to have a new-found respect for survivor finishes.  This one is a perfect example.  I love it!

Re: 1986 Redline RL-20a

This is an amazing bike.  Appreciation for the original finish on a bike is definitely a progression.  When I first got into this hobby 5 years ago I wanted everything to look brand new and didn't care about restoring an OG finish, trying to preserve it.  Over time I have really learned to appreciate it.  They are only original once and this bike is a great example of what can be done.  Enjoy this one!  I'm sure there will be plenty of buyers for it when you are ready to unload it.
