Re: 1997 Dingo G2 24

Cool frame...those rear stays with the cut, bend, then weld... seriously reminds me of my 2003 24" Cheeta Teamline frame and my 2002 24"Auburn prototype frame. Thrown in that similar seat tube weld and machined dropouts...... Hmmm, wonder if there is a connection in there somewhere...?

Hey Grunger - I'm almost positive there's a connection between Cheeta & Dingo frames... and possibly the late Auburn too.
And going back into the dim, dark past - between these and Pro Concept & American too.

Re: 1997 Dingo G2 24

I submitted an offer on that frame, the counter was a bit high for my taste.

In 97 that bike wasn't out yet. The first G2s were made by cheeta but In 97 everyone on the team was on the Rocket frames at least through the grands. Some bikes still even had the YCP logo on them.
