1984 JMC Racing Darrell Young

Show bike built up to be pure eye candy

This bike was built up as a tribute to the late great Jim Melton, may he rest in peace. JMC Racing bike have always meant so much to me, many friends I raced with back in the day were on JMC machines. I always wanted one but one was out of my parents reach. I decided to build up a JMC purely as a show bike, it had to be sleek and eye catching and unique. Black chrome combination is always a winner in my eyes so I set about acquiring a DY frame and fork and all of the bits needed. Most parts were OG and survivor and have been meticulously restored to ensure they will be appreciated for years to come. I am all for saving parts and giving them the utmost love.

1984 JMC Racing Darrell Young Old School BMX. This is an event winning show bike that has been fastidiously restored and built with the highest attention to detail with the finest quality and rarest parts known. This bike was recently featured at the Sydney BMXPO show where is took out the old school bmx racer category.

After seeing this bike in the flesh, it's truly amazing and the pictures really don't do this bike justice! A real trick bike and an awesome tribute to the man himself.

Everybody comes to a point in there life when they want to quit, but it's what you do at that moment that determines who you are. See i don't want to hear from people that tell me success is easy, i want to hear from the people who fought it out, who went all twelve rounds with life and got to the other side.
