2001 Kona Mama

Kona's last high dollar BMX race bike.

2001 Kona mama, bought the bike on craigslist and it was in worse shape than I imagined. I've put about $600 into this bike so far sadly.

New tektro brakesSinz xxx 2pc cranks with a euro bb conversion.Redline hubs laced to sun ringle lite chrome rims. The back flip flop hub has a freewheel with 72 points of engagement ( ORP has them custom fabricated). It's superior to the white industries freewheel.MCS 44t chain ringAnswer alumilite forksFit co Justin Inman signature barsTanget grips with purple ano locking collars.Wellgo magnesium platform pedals.Tioga powrrblock tire in the back and a haro catapult in the front.
Future plans for the bike are to either get it powder coated purple or anodized.
