IMO this is the finest build of any Vlad I've yet seen! cool I have a Vlad frame & fork that I intend to build up after Christmas. My intention has always been to stick strictly with black parts and avoid chrome. Your build has convinced me that my intuition was correct. Well done cannonball!

Really badass color, clean build... great looking bike!


BMX racer (1985-2001), now an avid MTB and cyclocross racer... maybe still a BMX'er!  I enjoy restoring and rebuilding vintage BMX and MTBs.  Steel is real!

How is your rear tire clearance at the chainstays?  I had 2.1 odyssey path tires on Sun Rhynolite rims on my Vlad and they only would clear with the rear axle 1/8 the way out of the rear dropouts.


My other car is a GT BMX.
