Re: 1987 GT Performer

Nice bike for a girl.  I consider those handlebars (Pro performer) the absolute best.  I have a SE Racing Quadangle and a GT Pro Series with these... I gave my good friend one too   http://bmxmuseum.com/bikes/se_racingcurrent/67673
I had 3 of those since we used to have a BMX shop called Panama BMX and we recently found out that there were some old bmx parts at my mother's house!

Re: 1987 GT Performer

That makes it even cooler! I had a magenta 87' performer. Although I sold it to fund my recently acquired 86' PFT lavender survivor. I still miss that one it was a very smooth riding bike.

Re: 1987 GT Performer

My 87' Magenta is my fave, rides the smoothest too. Just bought white GT seat, so that one will be all done!

Re: 1987 GT Performer

Cool. Mine was magenta w/ black. Instead of the white components. I had never seen one like that before. Maybe someone done that to it BITD. Who knows.
