1987 Mongoose Decade Pro

'87 Decade Pro with an '86 serial number and black head tube badge

Craigs List find out of town on a business trip.   Well used survivor.  After a good cleaning and some new pedals, grips and faux GT logo tires she's ready to ride.
Notice the early shape of the standing platform.

Re: 1987 Mongoose Decade Pro

Thanks 2dr... This ones for my wife, the only way I could have brought it home was to tell her it was for her.  I told her " its pink, its for you"  ;) she bought it, I think lol

How do you bolt the Lee Chi brakes to the forks. I have a pair for my 86' Decade and I cant get the brakes on.

you need the nut that recedes into the fork...you tighten it with an allen wrench

Build it, Ride it & Break it. That's what "it" was made for.

Survivors BMX are 🔥 the restored BMX has no soul.

Re: 1987 Mongoose Decade Pro

The early decade pro has a light pink strip between chrome and darker pink.
Not many of this known out there.
