Re: 1987 GT Pro Freestyle Tour Team Model
Realistically how hard is it to get your hands on the parts to build one of these? I would love to build one.
Looking for :
- Pre-85 Torker stuff, original finish, no repops

you have to hunt that's for sure, they are coming up for sale less and less as the months and years go by. for a while they were all over, but now I am not they are not showing up often. though if you have the right amount of money to spend you can get anything. I have the front and rear brake for sale right now they are restored MINT! I just sold the headset. I get this stuff now and then cause im always hunting and I love restoring parts just for something to do, so I am often selling stuff.

Re: 1987 GT Pro Freestyle Tour Team Model
Thanks Caleb. I need to decide if it's something I really want to do. I'm just trying to get an idea of how hard it would be. I will definitely be checking back with you if I decide to do it. Which parts are the hardest to come by? Is this the best place to look? Any other suggestions?

How do you restore the black lettering on the brakes after powder coating?
