1987 ELF Junior Cruiser 24

Elf Junior Cruiser 1987

I purchased this Elf Junior Cruiser brand new in about 2001. At first I wasn't sure what type of frame it was. I have several ELF's and this one did not have any "ELF" stamps on the dropouts. It did have an ELF sticker in the bottom rail which my 12 year old son thought was a fake and peeled it off. I built up the bike and he raced it a few times. The frame is in excellent condition with no rust or dents. It currently has Araaya rims with Suzie hubs. The bottom bracket is titanium. The stem is a small all alloy GT The handlebars are USA made. The brakes are Taiwanese. It has a serial number 28761 on the rear dropout. A sticker on the bottom of the down tube says:- Windsor Cycle Sport, 515 Main Windsor ph (303) 686 9700. How it ended up not built up on the Gold Coast - Palm Beach - Australia is anybody's guess.  I haven't weighted this bike, but it is VERY light.  They weren't called ELF (Extra Light Frame) for nothing.
