2011 GT Steed
2011 GT Steed
Top of the range, pro level GT Dirt jumping bike
I got back into freestyle after 10 years of not riding mid last year. When I was looking for a new school bike I wanted something that is a bit of an all rounder. I remembered the GT fuelers from the ninties and started looking for one of those and found out that there is a model above the fueler called the Steed. I found one for sale at a good price and bought it. It is a very light bike and rides great. The frame is 100% Sanko Cromoly and the forks and bars are heat treated. It came with pretty good parts for a complete but I have upgraded a lot of them anyway. As I understand it these are notavailable on the US market, which is a shame because GT still has some awesome bikes, like this one, and should be pushing them to rebuild their name a bit. Anyway leave any questions you have below and I'll fill you in as much as I can.

Re: 2011 GT Steed
saw 2010 at a nearby gt dealer -said they never went into production here. had it hanging from the ceiling on display supposedly was at a new york bike show for dealers and was offered up. probably the $1500. price tag is why it didnt make it to the public
Fightin' the system like a true modern day Robin Hood.
