Re: 1978 Husqvarna
I was so lucky this bike was a trade in at my bike shop and I parted it era correct. Amazingly the day I got it I looked on eBay and there was one for sale over on eb motors. The guy selling his for 1500$ had the whole story of 12-15 made for a dealer sales meeting as giveaway. I wish I would have saved that eBay listing. The guy wanted 1500$ for it about 4 years ago. He even had a pic of the bike with some kid standing next to it bitd

Re: 1978 Husqvarna
Very cool. Many people around here are much too young to know or remember, but Husqvarna made serious kick ass Motocross bikes (motorcycles) way back in the early 70's. That's what the BMX bikes were sort of conected too back in those days. That being said, they actually started making motorcycles as early as 1903!!! The company has made many different things since the 1800's including, weapons, sewing machines, motorcycles, chainsaws etc, etc, etc.
A "Squonk" is like a Mongoose only much harder to find...

Re: 1978 Husqvarna
We dont do appraisals on this site. Its worth whatever the highest price to the right buyer will fetch. Just because its cool and rare doesnt always make it worth a lot of cash'ola.

Yes, I would agree on what you said that rarity doesn't always make it worth lots of money. I am into old muscle cars and I see this first hand as well.
