I have to comment here. I too first saw this bike alongside me at a race-track close to 30 yrs ago. It was a black one. The rider that expertly obliterated the BMX track usually had his front wheels 1" off the ground while pedalling like a demon. I knew at that moment I would own one too. For me it was 26 years later. I never could make it like I had remembered the one of old to be. So I gave up on that particular one (project). I strategize all the time on how I can find it and make it look like my all time favourite bike from BITD. I have even tracked down the rider. Honestly wish you all the best in making yr dream bike shine like it did for you. I love how the strength of reminiscence can be as powerful as what the material object was. PEACE
