2009 Haro Freestyler
The way Haro should've done its retro Master.
I took what Haro released as their retro Master in 2009 and turned it into what I thought they SHOULD have done! My all time favorite color combo! Lots more pics inside... Link to the build thread here...http://bmxmuseum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=343641
Here's a parts break down:
F/F - 2009 Haro Freestyler (yellow powder my C4, black rattle-can nose)
Bars - 1987 Haro (black powder by C4)
Decals - Custom made by yours truly
Stem - Haro 1 1/8 (OG to the bike)
SPC - 80's Tuf Neck "bored out" to fit the larger seat tube
Post - New RL laidback
Seat - New White dominator from porkchopbmx
Cranks - New 175 mm RL flights
Chainring - New repop Peregrine CD
Pedals - New Haro PC from danscomp
Front Brake - New DC 883 from porkchopbmx
Rear Brake - New Tektro 990
Levers - NOS DC Tech 5's
Hubs - New Primo SOB polished 48 spoke sealed bearing
Hoops - New Odyssey 7K/A
Tires - New white Duro tires from porkchop
Pegs - NOS Legal Action
Dice - Custom "nail polish" paint job by my daughter

I made the decals myself... and had a local print shop print them on clear vinyl for me. Unfortunately, I didn't have them print any extras.

this bike rocks. looks totally ridable and practical. if factories would have stopped designing new models from an aesthetic point of view in 87, and only concentrate on furthering what they already had to improve riding efficiency, according to what tricks were done at the moment, I'm pretty sure it would have been something like this. great work!
