2005 Standard 125RC 24

Easily the best riding cruiser I've ever been on.  Like a really stable 20"

Having come out the other side of my flirtation with aluminum and requiring a new cromo race frame, I decided to listen to all the people who over the years had ranted and raved about how wonderful Standard's cruisers are, and commenced looking around. Then I rode Tony Lehman's bike, and my search was over. That's all there was to it. I had to have a 125R. I really cannot emphasise enough how great this bike handles. It's stable in the air, yet still totally tossable. Unbelievable.

cheers, bro!
I had the same reaction to Standard cruisers.  Now I prefer it to any bike including a 20in.
Jumps and Bunnyhops effortlessly.

Re: 2005 Standard 125RC 24

dude im Jealous...ive been wanting one of these for years but only really looking for one for the past month..if i cant find a used one im gonna order a cruiser straight from SBC..i actualy already emailed rick about what i want... yea dude...but on the other hand, i believe you about it riding like a 20" .. the dudes we used to ride  trails with had a , probably 95 or 96, 97   Standard cruiser/SICK!... the term "rides like a 20" is a rediculous UNDERstatement.. unbelievable. the goemetry is perfect, it does anything you want it to;smoothly..i remember after riding their standard cruiser then, i didnt find anything comparable to it until i found my S+m 24" but,  im also partial to sbc because of my trail boss addiction...but anyhoo, i know you dont want to sell it, or trade it for my "03" Trls250s  20"  frame lol... but seriously if you know anyone who is getting rid of a standard cruiser frame, please let me know.

awesome bike...for all the right reasons!
   MIKE..

Ps Sorry for the babbling....hahah

babbling is permissible.  Thanks for the props.  As much as I love this bike, I might be getting one of the new Cyclecrafts and therefore might be selling this frame.  I'll consider you having dibs.

Re: 2005 Standard 125RC 24

Thanks, Joe.  As you can see from my avatar, I've been playing with my 20" for a while and haven't ridden the cruiser at all in a coupla months.  It might be time to dust it off and go beat the shit outta it for a while.

Re: 2005 Standard 125RC 24

that is a really nice bike!  Saw you trying to find parts for your Redline 24.  Hit me up next time you need small parts -I got so much junk, it's not funny.

Stuff I want: 2000 24" DB Reactor Team frame ,  Voxom and Enigma stuff. Alliant / Radix stem and stuff.  JW and Stiffys stuff.  Cool late mid-school cruiser parts.
