1999 Specialized Fatboy Hemi

Custom Painted Captain America

Ever since that BMX Plus came out with the Captain America Haro Monocoque (I think January 97??) I wanted to do my own Monocoque Frame. For months now I have been collecting Parts to do a such a Midschool Project, and among that I have been chasing a Haro Monocoque for ages and wanted to do my own "Captain America". I couldn't find one, then Benny on ozbmx.com sold me a Specialized Hemi (thanks Benny) which I have transformed from a Swamp Wreck to a Eye catching Mid school Ride.

I have Airbrushed this to be a ultimately be a Display Frame (hence the reason Cap A is on a lean when assembled) , I will hang it up in my Airbrush Room when I get a new frame for these parts, maybe a Alloy Quadie!
Here is what is on it.....
Frame- Specialized Fatboy Hemi MX (Airbrushed with White base coat and Purple Pearl in Clear)
Forks- Answer Aluminite Pro
Wheels- SPINS BABY!!
Cranks- Redline Monster
Chainring- Odyssey
Pedals- Funn Platform
Brakes- Shimano XT V-Brake
Bars- GT LOW 065
Stem- GT Piston
Seat- GT
Seat Post- BC from Sportpower, Thomson coming
Seat Post Clamp- yep...GT
Tyres- Comp 3's
Headset- FSA sealed
Grips- Jetblack
and a KMC chain....
I have to give it a clean..... but here it is....

I will get some pics tomorrow in Sunlight to show the Purple Pearl, I hope you like it!
Cheers Jason

That’s sick bro!

As Per The Museum Rules I am not allowed to have external links in my signature after having them up for 6 months to a year? Why because I pissed them off for calling out the obvious! Here’s my signature:

Nicely done! Great parts choices all around.

Nitrous is like a hot chick with an STD, you want to hit it, but you're afraid of the consequences. Spray and pray.
