1986 Hutch Trick Star

A thrown together rider. SOLD

F/F: 1986 Hutch Trickstar
Stem: Hutch (western H) Cranks: Snafu 4130 (Oversized 180mm) Chainwheel: GT Overdrive Brakes: Dia-Compe Bulldog front and back, Pads: Dia-Compe/Kool Stop Brake cables: Odyssey Linear Slic Cables on front SST Oryg on back Pedals: Odyssey Twisted (Pro Alloy) Seat: WTB Speed V Seatpost: Nitto cro-mo lay-back Grips: Diamondback Handle bars: S&M Slam Bars (cut to 25.5") Back rim: Chrome Peregrine Super Racing Component 36 spoke/Chrome Peregrine Sealed Super race hub (Primo "Socket Pegs") Front rim-Tallus/generic hub Tires: Redline Freaky-X Valve caps: Rear dice cap is hand made/ Front is a Rad KapThis one started as a neighbor kid's. His mom gave it away when he moved out, and it sat outside for a year.
It lost some parts to friends way back, and was powder coated with what I've always thought of as Dyno purple.
The Trickstar then was made into a Barbie bike for my wife, and spent about twelve years covered in Barbie stickers.
When my Redline was stolen, my wife threw down for the cause and gave me the Hutch back.
I have it going again, (minus the barbie theme) with some old parts that were already on it, and a few new parts.

Hell yeah, That's great! I figured Cincinnati couldn't be the ONLY place where radness is plagued by rain.
Your 1987 Haro Master is F'ing pim-ping by the way.

Thanks a lot. I've had it a long time without giving it much love. Seeing all the incredible bikes here (your bikes are way up on my list) is really inspiring!
I actually took those pics to send to my Mom to mess with her. She had to deal with a lot of indoor radness from 1980-1986. I don't know, maybe it's a midwest thing? :) Gotta do something when it's raining!
