Found this beauty on CL. I pretty much kept it the way I found it. I only changed the seat, pedals, and grips and added the bar pad. Cleaned it up and here it is. Here's a breakdown: 1985 GT Performer F/F GT bars Gt seatpost clamp Gt stamped seatpost Viscount seat Shimano DX pedals SR cranks and chainwheel Unknown wheelset GT tires SR stem A'me grips DC 890 brakeset

Love the chrome look on those older frames. Very clean bike. Good score!

Love the chrome!  Like it was previously posted, you don't see too many of these in chrome anymore.

Re: 1985 GT Performer

I see a lot with those wheels on them, not sure why. I simply dont see GT using cheap wheels but I guess some did come with them.

What good is a BMX bike if it sits on the shelf? Ride that thang.......Yep that's right, my seat is from an old Free Spirt, and my chain is by Bell.

Those are white Ukai’s and by no a means a “cheap” wheelset. They are a blazing wheelset and I’d buy a spare set any chance I get.
