1984 GHP Twenty4

My original cruiser from 1984

I am very fortunate that the friend who bought my bike in 1988 still had it and was willing to part with it.
I got the following parts back with the bike and they are on it here:
1984 GHP cruiser frame and fork (C4 Labs powder)
Shimano hubs
Ambrosio rims
DK inverted stem
Tioga seat post
The rest of the parts are misc. and not original to my old bike:
Tioga tires (I have the original Comp IIIs but they are dry rotted)
DK seat post clamp
SE retro seat
AME grips
Dia Comp Bull Dogs brakes
Redline Flights
Knight retro chain ring
Suntour pedal copies

Re: 1984 GHP Twenty4

Gary, thanks for the comment (and I finally got around to getting a better pic of my wife's Standard).  I asked Chip at C4 if they could match the early 80s GHP red and he said yes.  This is what they sent.  I have zero complaints.

Re: 1984 GHP Twenty4

hmm, may have to ask Greg on this one..
I have what I think is an original GHP, with metallic red..
I do recall solid red 20" GHP's too...hmmm

Re: 1984 GHP Twenty4

This does have a slight metallic look to it.  If I recall, C4 mentioned this is a two-step powder involving silver.

Re: 1984 GHP Twenty4

Hey, Mark.  Thanks!  They are in excellent shape - thanks for the deal!  I'd love something more period correct, but for now, these Crupi really shine.  I see you have been to Heer Park and that you are having fun.  I am going to try and make it there this weekend.

Taking it to the NBL Grands (leaving today).  Gonna be a long 4 days, so this will be fun to cruiser around on.
