I bought this bike off a member here after he decided to sell it due to some  personal issues.  He bought this bike brand new and raced it.  When i purchased the bike, he sent me many parts that he used on the bike over the years.  I used some of the original parts and threw in some of my own personal touches.

Re: 1984 Rebel Racing General Lee

Awesome ride! That was the perfect bike when i was riding, never felt that another bike would be more comfortable on the track or just riding across town.

haven't been around in quite a while, things are looking pretty good right now. still have the pink trick star and the white rebel that i might build up this summer.

Re: 1984 Rebel Racing General Lee

Great bike! I owned a chrome one in 1984 and raced it.  Lightest front even I ever experienced on a bike, and that's with a Skyway Tuff 1 up front!  Man, that was the greatest bike ever!

Re: 1984 Rebel Racing General Lee

This is still my "go to bike" when its time to ride hard, race or just fool around.  Took me awhile to find Rebel Flag Zap Pads (i had a few NOS sets but never had the balls to open them up), so that is the ONLY change other than i wore the back tire out and replaced it with another NOS Snakebelly.  9years of riding, skidding and beating it up....they definitely gave me my moneys worth.
