1997 Haro Monocoque
1997 Haro Monocoque
This is my first build since getting back into riding...let me know what you think...
I remember drooling over this bike when I saw it in BMX Plus and my jaw dropping when I saw the price tag...If anyone has that BMX plus I would love to see it again! This bike is a rider and it is fast! - Haro Monocoque frame - stamped serial number 077 - Technique 183mm Cranks - Crupi Pro Square Pedals - Spin Carbon Fiber Rims - Haro Aluminum bars - were annodized blue and then I powdercoated them black - NOS Tektro V-brakes - NOS ODI longneck grips - NOS Crupi 44t chainring - Primo "Casket" stem - I'm looking for a black Pro Crupi stem - Chris King headset

Re: 1997 Haro Monocoque
i actually had damn near the same exact bike but in polished.i raced it in practice in north carolina and some tool slammed on his braked right in front of me for some crazy reason. i bent the bike into a taco right in the middle of the frame.Big "E" from powerlite/gt at the time, was in the infield, asked me to come to his trailer and gave me a brand new aluminum powerlite frame for my bent one,and they even built it for me.never saw what came from it,maybe an ad i never saw?i dunno.loved that bike though.powerlite was a long turd.

Wish you still had this, we could have worked something out for that Holeshot cruiser I have. I have always wanted one of these but would never spend the $700-800 for the frame. Once I was sponsored I had no choice of what to ride for a while so it never happened. Sweet Ride though
