1984 CW Racing Phaze 1

This is a single owner 1984 CW Phaze 1 with original chrome and stickers, and it does not have CW bars...I know, this probably breaks the law in most states!

This is the CW Phaze 1 I purchased in 1984 from Bicycle World in Howell, NJ right before I turned 12.  With funds from my paper route, I sat down with somebody in the shop, and I selected all of the parts and filled out a build sheet (splurging on some parts, saving cash on others).  I distinctly remember my mom standing in the shop, pointing at a row of complete bikes and asking, “Why can’t you just pick one of those bikes over there?”  I used the bike for about six years before it began to sit in my parent’s garage and later in my basement.  I have attempted to bring it back to life using some of the tricks in the Restoration Forum (Coke & aluminum foil cleaned up some of the welds!), and I purchased a few parts to complement the bike.  The chrome on the frame & fork is in pretty good shape, the stickers are original and a little worn on the forks, though the chrome on the wheels and bars could stand to be redone.  Unfortunately, the CW Racing pads (yellow lettering on a black background) are long gone, but I still have the crossbar pad cover.

Parts & Specs:
CW Phaze 1 Frame & Fork (1984)
Redline Forklifter bars (Originally, the bike had SE Power Wings.  I damaged those at some point and put on CW California Freestyle bars just to ride.  I recently purchased these Redline bars to go with the stem.)
Redline Forklifter neck (Originally, I had a Tuf Neck stem, and I bought the Forklifter a year or two after initial build.)
Dia Compe MX901 rear brake (These were a part of the original build)
Dia Compe FS880 front brake (I purchased these a year or two after initial build)
A’me Round grips (original build)
Takagi Ultra Dyno 170 mm 3 piece cranks (original build)
Suntour XC-II pedals (Originally, I had KKTs on there, but changed to XC-IIs after the original build)
Shotgun II seat (original build)
SE seat post (original build)
Tuf Neck seat clamp (originally, I had a black Tuf Neck seat clamp.  It was damaged, so I recently purchased this one and painted it black).
Ukai Speedline rims with Sunshine sealed hubs (original build)
Duro tires (Of course, the replica Comp IIIs were a recent purchase.  Originally, the bike had Comp IIIs, and later it had GT tires.  I still have the GTs sitting in my basement.)

Freedo,

No, this is not the one on display at the bike shop in Howell.  I haven't been there in many years.  Sounds like they might have a display of old bikes there?

I am pretty sure I paid either $420 or $440, but I don't have any of the documentation from the original sale.  Those are the numbers I have stuck in my head.
