1981 Puch Trak-Pro

Puch Trak Pro was built by Thruster.

This was a bike in which I raced the "Proto-Type" while I was on The East Coast Shimano Factory Team.

After a short while after the bike proved to be a "Winner" it was a Production Bike built by Speed Unlimited out of Wayne,NJ for Puch which was Utimately Daimler-Benz Corp.

You got to be shitin me i yous to live around the corner from there on FAYETTE AVE .I know there was a hutch factory there but i dident know they built truster and puch. Great bike bike by the way and great story very close to home.

Myone,you and I met at the Jersey City Swap meet ride.

The "Hutch" Factory you are referring to was actually Speed Unlimited/Thruster.(Wayne,NJ) Speed Unlimited built bike Frame/Forks for a few companys,including Hutch and Puch. I and the other members of the Shimano East Coast Factory Team raced the Puch Protypes.

NJ's Start in BMX and "Dollar Dave's" Race Career can be seen on BMXNJ.com click on "The East Coast is The Right Coast."

Yes going to slam9 looking forwerd to seeing you bro all the heads are going.Its going to be a hell of a time! I have a story for you about that factory! MY boys from feyette were walking up the pipeline do you know the pipeline in Wayne? DUDE they broke into that place and essembeld hutch bikes and rode out of the garrage door down the pipeline to feyette ave at like 3:00AM on a saterday morning.So they didnt know till monday.These guys swore to me on every thing thats holly its true.
