Re: 1995 ELF Doublecross Pro
SOO you were the one that outbid me on ebay ! Well congrats , its a nice bike that could be stunning with a good cleanup and some TLC. What will you be selling? Parts or frame and fork? I am always interested.

Re: 1995 ELF Doublecross Pro
I'm not too sure anymore, I just finished my 1993 24" Doublecross cruiser but it's kind of hard for me to do anything except take it for a cruise cause it's so big. So now I'm thinking of keeping the 20" (which I still havn't received yet) depending on it's condition and selling my 24" cruiser. Decisions, Decisions.

Re: 1995 ELF Doublecross Pro
He emailed me today and gave me a tracking # so hopefully I'll get it sometime this week he said he was out of town and trusted a friend to ship it who obviously didn't. He;s gonna refund me the shipping cost to and so far he's been true to his word, only time will tell.

I sold my 24 inch Fatboy cruiser because it was hard for me to do much on it except cruise and ride trails and jumping was difficult. So I sold it and told the wife "I gotta get a 20 inch bike". Cruisers are cool- keep it because 24" ELF's aren't easy to come by.

Re: 1995 ELF Doublecross Pro
That's the only reason I wanted to keep it was for it's uniqueness cause i don't much else with it. i've been swapping some parts on it for my 20". Does elf make a 1 inch seat post in that zip style? And i finally received my 20" on thursday.

Re: 1995 ELF Doublecross Pro
Almost done just gotta find the right color tires and add some new rims, spokes and nipples I'm keeping the original hubs they still roll so smoooth! Anyone know were to find a elf zip post for this I think it's 1inch and I only have a 7/8 zip post.

Re: 1995 ELF Doublecross Pro
I know I shouldn't let this bother me and feel free to bring me back down to earth but I'm not liking this star rating system at the moment. My favorite bike (my doublecross) is down to a 3 star rating and it used to be a 5 star bike, WTF?????!!!!!!! If people would take the time to read about all the mods I've made to make this bike unique then maybe they would understand..... sorry, sorry, didn't mean to gripe.

Re: 1995 ELF Doublecross Pro
What I think it is is the strict fans of other brands not all but alot of them refuse to believe that anyone could make a better bike than theirs regardless of the mods. It's immaturity on their part, a nice build will always be a nice build plain and simple.
