1998 McMahon Pro

Serial Number 42 - only the second frame to re-surface

Got this frame off of ebay.  I only know of one other frame that has re-surfaced.  This is the first one to get posted on the museum.  Any McMahon ads or info from any of you guys would be appreciated.

Re: 1998 McMahon Pro

Real cool frame... I love and hate the no seatpost designs. Looks cool, bad idea. This one looks like excellent craftsmanship. Build er up .

Seriously considering a torker/redline midlife crisis project ^_^

Re: 1998 McMahon Pro

Whoa!  Holy happy hitcchikers!  What the heck is that.  I love it.
Why is there foam on the fork -does it bang on the frame?
If you ever get rid of this -you gotta send it to me!  I gotta few bikes to trade if you ever get a hankerin....

Yes, the fork will hit the frame if you turn the handlebars too much...This one is staying with me for a looong time, you don't see too many of these frames around...I haven't had time to finish building it, but I have most of the parts...It should be done "soon."

Re: 1998 McMahon Pro

Hey Mike,

Just picked one up off ebay a week or so ago.  Won't get a chance to polish it up and post it for a month or two but I will say that it hasn't ever been ridden and hasn't even had wheels tightened in the drops!  Any progress on your build?
