1995 ELF XL

sold

This is one of my three complete ELF bikes that I had the pleasure of building. In 1993 I bought an ELF 20 inch ZR1 which was stolen from me 4 months later by some mentally challenged person and I became crazy looking for another one. Well, about 2 years ago I began finding the parts I wanted to use for my first build so the madness began. This is my second one. 1995 ELF XL BMX Serial #XL079527 Efl 6 piece blast bars (nos) ELF 9/16 Trap pedals (nos) ELF seat (nos) ELF aluminum seat post (nos) ELF seat clamp (nos) AME Tri grips GT FSA sealed head set Tioga Competition 3 tires TekTro rear break TekTro break lever Profile BMX Race 170mm 3-piece cranks Profile Race 110mm 44t sprocket DK Sun rims Rhyno Lite 6000 series alloy 406 x 29.5mm ACS Claws freewheel polished YBN chain

Re: 1995 ELF XL

This one is my favorite one considering that it is an XL and Iam 6'2". I love the way the brake cable casing stops at the first support and continues to the second. The profile sproket is kind of midschool looking and I think that set the whole bike off ! I might put some red AME grips and a red KMC chain on it to keep with the red brakes but Im not too sure yet. What do you think? Stay with the black or go with the red? I paid $100 dollars for the nos ELF pedals so thats the only reason I wont put red eastern sealed pedals on it.

Re: 1995 ELF XL

Yeah the elf pedals were a must have. I havent seen the pedals again at all. As far as changing the grips and chain, I think I will take you advice and leave themn as is.
