1998 Mosh Pro CM
Searched for one of these for awhile. Under rated pieces of mid school goodness IMO.
Not an overly collectible piece but always loved these rides. There’s quite a few others on the museum with many stating they’re Kastan frames. This is only partially true as they’re Kastan designed but made by Giant in Taiwan. Kastan never made chromoly ones and even the Giant aluminum ones are easily recognizable if you know what to look for.
I picked this one up from a girl in Vancouver that rode it daily to work but she got another job further away so she wanted a bigger bike. She’d taken decent care of it but it needed a rebuild and some updating but it took awhile for me to get around to it so it sat in my shop for the last couple of years. I got inspired when a guy placed an ad on CL for a Mosh Skool’d freestyle bike in parts in a box right in my neighbourhood for next to nothing so I scooped that up for parts and went to work. This bike has the original 2 piece Mosh cranks, nothing special by any means but hard to find. I had to search around for a set of bars as they’re a bit of a rarity these days but for the wrong reasons, as they were/are known to break easy. Also has the original Mosh beauty of a stem which many have asked to buy from me. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it.
