2001 GT Vertigo with NOS and modern parts

SOLD. Found this frame on eBay, it was listed as "never used". I planned on running it with a 25/ 9 drive train, and I did. However the chain ran to close to the brake arm and it would bounce on it over bumps. It worked fine and as long I was pedaling the chain wouldn't hit. I tried a 30T Kink Astro wheel and it was better but still hit. I tried a couple other setups before the one you see here. It is a 1994 GT 43T wheel off a Performer. I had it chrome plated. If you're still reading a word of advice: It may not be a great idea to chrome plate your chain wheel. The chrome makes the teeth physically larger and this Shadow Supreme chain (which is already stretched in) is the only one I have that works with it. I tried a brand new Wipperman Connex and it was as if the chain was not even the right one, 1/8" x 1/2" single speed. Any way It runs great now. Other parts: AK 10" bars, Odyssey EVO II brakes, FSA "The Pig" headset, S&M Pitchfork 14mm, Sunday 175mm cranks, Alex Supra rims on Red Line sealed 14mm hubs, rear flip flop, Shadow pedals, Shadow seat, We The People stem, Odyssey GTX Gyro, ACS Crossfire 13T freewheel, Maxxis Hookworms, Shadow pegs, Red Line chain tensioners, Cult grips, We The People seat post clamp, chromoly seat post, Tektro levers and Odyssey Slik Cables. I'm always trying to ride these bikes like cruisers, because I ain't riding a mountain bike or some 10 speed. So I tried to build this one for top end, with the 43T/ 13T gears I get 3.30 to 1 ratio. I've been able to hit 24mph on my neighborhood speed check sign and GPS. Any way thanks for looking.
