1979 Diamond Back Large Pro
This one one of Diamond back's best looking and most iconic machines
I picked this bike up off a friend and promised to carefully restore it to it's former glory by using the original parts off the bike, even the handgrips, pads and seat.
Frame and Forks: 1979 Diamond back large pro frame and dual drop out forks. Refinished with the highest quality chrome and NOS decals
Bars: Diamond back - refinished
Grips: Original OGK Mach grips
Pads : Original RAD PADS
Stem: Sugino Diamond back stamped refinished in blue anodising
Cranks: Sugino Diamondback stamped refinished in blue anodising
Brakes: Dia-compe 890 refinished in blue anodising
Wheels: Araya 7C refinished in blue anodising and shiny sided
Tyres: Original Mitsuboshi Comp II
Seat: Original Kashimax MX
This has become one of my favourite bikes in my collection, blue chrome colour combination is a good result.
