1975 Schwinn Scrambler
This is a 1975 Schwinn Scrambler. It was the first edition of the Scrambler. It has the "Metalic Silver Mist" paint scheme.
I found it at a small bike shop in Kansas and bought it last year for suprisingly the original retail price. Since then I have cleaned up the chrome rims, seatpost, and chainwheel. According to the guy I bought it from it was raced somewhere between 1975 and 1980. I take it out to the local BMX track every weekend and show it off. It's not very collectable or valuable, but I like it because its an old racing bike. It's also a sign of how far the tech of building BMX racing bikes has come when you see it next to my 23 pound racing bike.
