1979 Schwinn Sting
Schwinn Sting almost 100% original bought new (SWEET)
I bought a chrome Sting in the early 80s (used) and the seat post tube had a small crack so the local Schwinn dealer sent it to his rep and they sent me a new in the box frame (red) So i built it and raced it for years. Since 1999 i have been restoring it back to original i have NOS Team Schwinn cranks NOS seat post clamp NOS stickers (not repros) the rest i had correct rims with a rare Schwinn rear hub correct tires correct neck and bars correct head set and NOS Ame round grips. Even still have the origianl manual for it It has Dia Comp MX900s on it and a MX seat. Would like to find the correct brakes and grips for it. I have not put the cranks on it yet
