1994 S&M Dirtbike
BMX Classic
This frame has been through a lot. I got this frame from Chris Moeller in 94 direct from the old S&M warehouse. I remember that day I left with this frame, Pitchforks, some shirts, and a copy of 44 Something. One of the best days ever. I rode this bike every day growing up.
Back then, this bike was set up with black Pitbulls, Slambars, red Prince Alberts, black GT platform pedals, purple Jive Handles or purple Longnecks, Tech 77 lever, GT 44t sprocket(bent), GT freestyle tire(rear) and Comp III up front, some crappy seat I found, and two pegs.
At some point when I was older I quit riding and needed a buck, so I sold it on ebay with Pitchforks, Redneck, and Brand X seatpost. I regretted selling it from the beginning. Years went by and I got back into riding and I found bmxmuseum.com and low n' behold, there's my Dirtbike! Listed as a 89! It turns out, Gary had been the one who won the auction on my frame. I contacted him and worked out buying my old Dirtbike back. It was a dream come true. At some point I actually came across an original sticker set and re-stickered it back to how it was when it was new.
I mocked up these photos with some random parts just to show how it looks built up.
