1997 S&M Dirtbike
Indestructible ride, a bit heavy, but rides great!
Technically this started as a Mongoose Menace that I bought for myself to ride with my son. When something broke, it was replaced with bullet proof parts. Cranks were first, wheels were replaced because of a good deal. The frame was replaced when I broke the menace coming up short on a set of doubles (apparently way short) - Bars were Standard strip bars, but I got the Slams and Redneck from a member.
Today's version is a 97 (I'm getting that from the S/N) Dirt Bike NG with a Pitchfork.
Slam Bars & Redneck stem and ODI clamp on grips (1/2 an SST oryg - I have all the parts, but I'm not needing the detangler, and I need to get a new headset for it. This is the only thing that needs to be changed.)
Peregrine 48s hub / rims, Primo tires
Profile 180 with hop up kit, turning a DK Iron cross - 45T
Standard Layback seat post with a Pr1mo seat.
Dia-tech lever with Dia-comp 990 brakes.
Kink pegs (only one on) with the chain tensioner
