1986 Ross Piranha
I believe this is a rare freestyle bike
All parts are original (forkstanders, framestanders, Dia-Compe brakes, ACS Rotorand neck, 5 spoke OGK mags, wheel size is 16 inch, etc), except for the chain, sprocket, seat pole, and hand grips. I believe bike is overall great condition, some scratches on frame and handle bars, but they are only surface scratches, not in the metal. The tires and mags are slightly faded due to age. My name is scratched on the bottom of the frame and some rust has accumulated due to the engraving. All stickers are original and in good condition. Frame is 4130 Chrome Moly and is displayed by 2 stickers. Bike made in Allentown, PA. Bike rides nicely, but may need new brake pads.
I am wondering if anyone may think there is a demand for this type/quality of a bike? My nephew recently got a mongoose from his father's friend, which made me think of this bike of mine. If it worth about $50 then I'd just give it to my nephew. If it worth more, I'd think about trying the bay. If anyone has comments or knows more about this bike, I'd appreciate some feedback.
Thanks in advance
Ron
