1999 Redline FS 880 RL 20 -2 Tribute Build

Hi there. I just built up my first freestyle/flatland bike since 1994! Tried to capture the spirit and feel of the iconic RL20-2 using modern components along with some old school classics. next up wi

I always wanted an RL20-2, but due to my location and the exchange rates, it was too expensive. Stopped Flatlanding/Freestyle in 1994 to pursue studies and got into mountainbiking. Got the BMX bug again after getting to know that there was an updated version of the RL22 in the form of the FS880. This was great since I did not want to deal with threaded headsets and sidepull brakes. Here's The build: Frame - Redline FS880 Cro Mo Fork - Redline Device Fork Bars - Redline Aluminum Forklifter with ODI Longneck grips Stem - Kink Raider (its the closes I could get to the older hutch stem) Wheels - Peregrine HP 48's that has been locked up in storage Tires - ACS RL Edge 100psi tires Drivetrain - Redline Flight Cranks with 40T proline sprocket driving an ACS RL Edge Freecoaster Pedals - KHE replica of the MKS Graphite X's love these pedals Seatpost and Seat - Odyssey 99er and Intac Seat Clamp - Standard CNC Headset - FSA Headset with Gyro GTX Cables - Dragonfly Dual Upper Cables and Odyssey london mod rear Pegs - Fly Bikes Suelo pegs Its got me back into flatlanding. Am kicking myself for giving up a sport that made me feel good about pushing your limits.
