BMXmuseum.com Bikes / Redline / 1988 Redline RL-20II "Kiwi"

I got this frame and fork set as a NOS, unbuilt deal.  The person thought it was some sort of blue color, and it was really his wife's.  She has it becuase it was "pretty".  I built it to be like it was in 1988 as a complete.  The serial number is R88#######, and with the reverse decals (mango color) lettering on the down tube, makes it a late 88 model.  So, I added the proper mid-late Araya ADX concave rims (hard to find) with the Redline hubs.  The early model had the normal Araya 7X style polished aluminum rims, with Redline sealed-tech (rudder seals, not real sealed) hubs.  It is a bike that I always looked at in the 1988 catalog, and dreamed about.  My friend and I always joked on the name of the color.
