1980 Team Mongoose
Built as Rideable Vintage!
Team Mongoose fully restored. Frame started as a Nickel Supergoose, Powdered with "Anodized Red." Repop decals. Cranks, neck, seat clamp and wheels are my own survivors.
This project has been transforming for awhile. I think I finally have it down to being a really comfortable rider.
I have tried a straight post and Race Inc. bars but it felt like an off-balance tricycle
Pro-Class rims were too light and delicate
CW bars were roomy but felt like riding a bike with a semi grill.
The short tuf neck didn't put the bars far enough forward.
Slam Pro bars were too wide.
Final arrangement:
adjustable MTB seat, laid back post for more balance and room, Fly Pantera bars feel and look perfect, longer Pro-neck, big new school knobby tires.

New Acquisition. Don't know anything about Torker, but this Aluminum frame is very high quality, perfect welds, innovative tubing design. Steering is very quick and precise.
